Hello
Friends!
I greet
you this month with wishes of peace, joy
and abundance! This is a time of change
for many of us as we each explore new
territories and landscapes within
ourselves. During this time, I send you
loving encouragement to know that you
are a boundless, limitless Being with
the power to create whatever you desire.
To assist you in remembering and living
this, I want to offer you this wonderful
dialogue by a woman named Celia Fenn who
is a lovely Soul who channels Archangel
Michael. I stumbled upon this website
this week and finished reading it with a
big smile on my face and warmth in my
heart. May you also enjoy it!

Additionally, I have for the past year
or so been looking for a meditative
studio space to hold classes and
workshops in Marin outside of my home.
This past week I had the good fortune of
finding just the one! It is a
healing/yoga center in Larkspur in Marin
County called the Stress Management
Center of Marin (SMC) run by Robin Gueth
http://www.smcmarin.com. It
offers massage and healing treatments as
well as many yoga classes. The space
is held very sacred as Robin has created
the space with crystals infused with
intention built into the walls of
her center. I will be offering monthly
workshops for you to participate in, as
well as a weekly class at the center
starting in June. I will send you more
info about the class starting in June in
the upcoming weeks.
I
invite you to join me for a healing
workshop entitled:
Moving
through Change with Grace and Love
Saturday, May 23rd
1-4pm at SMC
1165 Magnolia
Avenue
Larkspur, CA 94939
Together
we will explore ways of managing the
energetic and emotional shifts and
changes happening within us and our
lives with grace, compassion and peace.
Our time together will involve opening
ritual, group sharing, guided
meditation, inner reflection and
individual healing. I lead my gatherings
in a healing circle format offering
participants the opportunity to quietly
and in an intimate setting explore the
nature of who you are. My gatherings
tend to be small which offers each
participant the time to receive
individual attention. The cost of the
workshop is $100. I hope you, or someone
you know who might benefit from our
healing circle, can come and participate
in this sacred time together. To
register, or for more information,
please email me at
dbendl@pacbell.net.
Many
Blessings of Light to You,
Denise

Energetic Shifts
Our society is undergoing powerful
shifts and transformation within the
paradigms of the established patriarchal
system. The old structures and systems
which have dominated our culture for
thousands of years are dying away.
Belief systems which have governed our
psyches and minds are no longer fitting
into who we, as a species and society,
are today. The current patriarchal
dominant culture prescribes to will to
power dynamics and ways of interacting.
This means that if I will something to
happen, I will engage everything within
my own power to make it so. Large
corporations have led this country from
this very paradigm. Large corporations
have become the model for success in
some circles and have overpowered, and
on many levels, have trumped the
creativity born of the individual. As we
have seen throughout history and within
nature, all things come to pass. All of
creation dies and passes away. The
structures that we as a people have
created within the patriarchal mindset
and belief system are dying away as
well. As we continue to evolve within
our consciousness and return to our
original nature as humans, we find that
confinement of individual creativity,
leadership based on hierarchy and power,
and ineffective power structures no
longer serve our best interests as
individuals and as a collective.
What is happening is that the masculine
energies within each of us, as unique
individuals and within the society we
live, are shifting. The traditional
masculine energies have archetypically
been represented as action oriented,
protecting, asserting of power, decision
making and providing of resources. These
masculine energies have served us to the
point of actualizing our power and
determining the limits and boundaries of
who we are. Like a child who grows into
the adolescent and then the adult, the
developmental process of growth and
maturation affords one the opportunity
and experience to understand where they
stand relative to others and the whole
of society. That child, now an adult,
discerns how to maneuver and manage his
power within the larger collective.
Similarly, as our society matures and
expands its acceptance levels, the old
patriarchal patterns no longer sustain
the good of the people. New energies
within the masculine are being born and
with them, new leadership and new
methods of relating and engaging with
oneself and with other. The new energies
of the archetypal masculine are based on
power born from inner integrity and
inner discernment. The old system based
power on what would advance them within
the collective the fastest and get them
what they want. The new energies have a
different baseline value system all
together. The new masculine reflects
inward for the true guidance and
discernment and makes decisions and
determinations based on whether it is in
alignment with his core values and
beliefs as a person. The new masculine
moves within the cycle and flow of the
forces within him and around him,
instead of fighting against the flow.
Tolerance, acceptance and allowing are
the primary values. Leadership is based
on community efforts and recognition of
the individual. Success is based on the
manifestation of one's inner expression
in the world and the inner experience
and feeling of deep fulfillment.
External materialism loses its perceived
value and instead the individual
measures value based on one's experience
of inner worth. The more one experiences
oneself as fulfilled, content and
accepting of one's life, the less value
and intrigue materialism and external
rewards hold. The shifts happening are
occurring along a continuum and
there are no absolutes. Each person may
feel and perceive them differently.
Individuals are looking for a life
filled with meaning based on what they
personally perceive and experience as
meaningful, despite what has been
expected of them in the past. The shift
is toward internally validating life
experiences that are in alignment with
one's deepest core beliefs and values.
Simultaneously, another major shift is
occurring as our planets have been
shifting into the Age of Aquarius. I am
not a specialist in astrology, but what
I do know is that the planets of our
solar system are mirroring to us that
"Yes!" we, as a planet and species, are
shifting. Our solar system's shifts
directly and powerfully influence all
that we experience emotionally,
psychically and physically. The shift
out of the Piscean Age to the Aquarian
Age, goes hand in hand with the shifts
within our masculine and patriarchal
consciousness. According to Shri Mataji,
a beautiful sage, "In the New Age we
break free of centuries of false
doctrines, destructive indoctrinations,
absurd ideas, and children's stories
about God, education, medicine, and
love. The corrupt foundations of false
society crumble. This time of crises is
not the signal of the end of the world.
What comes is not the end, but the
beginning. The dream humanity has lived
for centuries ends and we awaken to a
bright new day, a bright new way. Our
individual worth comes from inside, from
what we have inside, through our
development, our evolution, and what we
can give to society. Now our drastic
differences dissolve and we integrate
into the whole. We integrate and unify
with the energy of the universe, with
the great cosmic spirit." The Age of
Aquarius is governed by expansion of
consciousness, unification individually
and collectively, and seeking of deeper
truths.
So what can
you do to allow for more of the
consciousness and acceptance of these
changes and shifts in your life? The
guidance directs us to look at what in your
life do you find yourself resisting. Here
are some questions to help you explore and
discover your truth more deeply:
1. If I was to draw a picture in
my mind of how I want to feel and
experience myself throughout my day,
what would that picture look and feel
like? Who would be in that picture with
me, how would I feel about myself in
that picture and what would need to
change in my current reality to allow
for this picture to manifest?
2. Is there something I fear would
happen to me or to others, if I was to
completely be happy, fulfilled and
living my dream?
3. Do I believe, consciously or
unconsciously, that someone or something
else outside of myself has power over me
to determine my happiness, my goodness
and worth? If there is something, what
would need to happen to release this
external power and for me to feel
empowered within myself?
4. Lastly, is there something I
feel within myself, such as shame, guilt
or fear, that keeps me from fully loving
and accepting myself just as I am? If
so, am I open to and willing to allow
myself to be human and love myself just
as I am?
These questions and the answers you
discover are critical steps towards
self-acceptance and self-love and will
help you recognize the areas of
resistance or fear in your life. I would
offer that as you explore these
questions, you consider responding to
them not from your analytical mind, but
from deep within your heart. The answers
to these questions are most likely held
by your inner child, whose voice is soft
and vulnerable and may take a little
while to hear fully. Be patient as your
inner child tells you the story of
his/her emotional life from his/her
perspective. You can allow the adult
analytical mind to rest as the inner
child helps you to heal and remember who
you truly are.
May you be filled with
happiness, peace and
everlasting joy that comes with deep
self-acceptance and self-love!
