Let It Fall Away

Recently, I had an experience with my Higher Self in which my Higher Self told me in a very clear voice, "Let it fall away." I felt in my body the Truth that these words held for me. I was guided at this point in my growth to let fall away that which was ready to fall away in my life and in my belief systems. I was not to take responsibility for their need to fall away, nor was I guided to process it through my mental mind. The mind in some situations can become a swirling vortex where energy gets trapped, and cyclical thoughts and energy remain. Instead, I was to thank that which had served me up to this point in my life for helping me on my path, and then just as simply, I was to release my grasp on it and my identification with it.

I have found that the energy within us and around us simply wants to move. Whether the energy is a feeling, thought, or pain in the body, it simply wants to find balance. When we capture that feeling, analyze it, dissect its origins and process it, it has now become a mind identified state and it has become sentient. We have given it the power to determine who we are because we believe that it is a part of us and in some way that our worth or value depends on it. These energies that move through us are no more a part of us than the wind blowing outside is a part of us. It is all energy. It would be like caging a bird that is flying south for the winter and keeping that bird in a cage. We are stopping the flow. Every cell in that bird's body is wired and programmed to fly south because that is what it does. The bird doesn't stop and analyze its flight south, it just follows the flow of the energy moving in it. So too, are the energies within us. They are not meant to be held in place to build over time. They are meant to flow through us.

Belief systems are one way that the energy within our system gets held in place. When we have a belief about ourselves or the world, then that belief acts as a filter through which we view and experience the world. If we are ready, willing and able to open up our grasp on our beliefs and let them go as we would let go of a caged bird, we may find that many areas of our live will shift in response to letting go of our long held beliefs.

Below is a heart practice which will enable you to let what needs to fall away to do so with love and grace.

Heart Awakening

The heart center as an energy center holds unique abilities of transformation. We have probably all heard the saying, "The way to the Divine is through the Heart" or some derivation of it. At our heart center, there is a personal heart and a universal heart. The universal heart holds the quality of sovereignty. This means that we each are sovereign within ourselves, a unique heart essence yielding its own purpose and power. The personal heart holds our personal history, wants, needs and emotion. What I am finding is that the universal heart center in its subtle power can help us heal our personal heart and assist us in letting fall away what we are truly ready to release.

Here is a simple exercise that can help you to tap into the immense gifts within your own heart:
Easily and without effort, connect with your breath. Just feel the breath as it rises and falls, as if you were watching and feeling the waves in the ocean wash over you. Let the breath be organic and natural without any strain. Now begin to breathe through your heart center. Ask your universal heart to open as you meet it with your breath. If you find tension or holding in your heart, connect with the unconditional love at the heart center and all the love to slowly melt away any tightness, hardness or tension. Continue this practice until the heart center feels open, alive and filled with unconditional love.

Next, breathe easily and gently this unconditional love into your mind around the eyes and forehead. Like water washing over the sand, soaking the sand, allow the energy to wash through the entire mind from the front of the head to the back of the head. Any judgments, repetitive or obsessive thoughts, or stressed energies will be bathed in acceptance and love, and recognized as simply energy. Feel the mind become more spacious, feel the body begin to relax and soften. Allow the healing energy to flow beyond the physical head to the area around the head, softening and relaxing the aura around your head.

Lastly, if there are any other areas in your body, like around your shoulders, or around your belly, that are still holding some tension, bring your breath and awareness there gently and breathe ease and grace into those parts of the body as well. What we find is that this practice reminds us that we are already Home. We are already sovereign. We needn't work at it or figure it out. The Heart is here to remind us that the Divine already dwells within us and it is us!

I send you Love and Everlasting Light on your Journey Home,

Denise
